Community Presbyterian Church

of St. Maries

Our mission is to worship God,
to proclaim and teach the message of Jesus Christ,
and to faithfully serve all God’s people.

What can you do?  Lots!

The Community Presbyterian Church is deeply involved in our community…

and because of that, there are many opportunities for our members and friends to be involved with our Church’s outreach.  With a small investment of your time you can make a big difference in the lives of others.  Volunteering feels good and gives us a chance to share God’s love through our actions as Christians.

Souper Tuesday

On the second and last Tuesdays of the month CPC hosts Souper Tuesday.  Souper Tuesday is an evening meal provided for free to anyone who would like to join us.  This has been an ongoing local mission for serveral years.  The preparation, serving and cleanup are all provided by volunteers who feel called to help out and the food is provided through donations  We have an ongoing need for volunteers to help with this important ministry. Please help us fulfill Christ's call for us to care for those in need. Talk to MaryAnne Wheeler, 689-9171.

Coffee Hour Hosts

Each Sunday after services there is a time of fellowship in the Fellowship Hall (makes sense, right?)  Volunteers to provide the snacks and make the coffee are always needed.  Please sign up on the bulletin board outside the Sanctuary or call Kathy Martin, 245-4389, if you are able to help.

Join the CPC Choir

There is no better way to worship God than through music.  If you feel the calling, CPC’s choir practice is every Sunday at 9am. Please join us. If you have an interest and would like to know more about it, see MaryAnne Wheeler, 689-9171.

Sanctuary Flower Donations

Each Sunday, there are flowers placed at the base of the Cross in recognition of someone or some event.  If you’d like to have flowers placed please contact Joan Lindsay at 245-9407.  The Deacons ask for a donation of $16.00 for the bouquet and it’s yours to take home after the service.
