Adopt-an-Expense

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.   2 Corinthians 9:7

What is it about adopting a puppy that gives you a warm feeling of satisfaction?  You know you’re doing your part, no matter how small, to make the world better.  The stewardship committee wants to give you an opportunity to experience that same feeling, without the feeding, house training or trips to the vet.

We are asking the members, visitors and friends of CPC to adopt an expense of the Church.  Help us meet our annual budget needs by taking ownership of a small part of what keeps the church ministering to our community.

Here’s how it works:  Grab an envelope from the bulletin board that appeals to you both in it’s amount and it’s cause, seal your donation inside and give it to Liz Hughes or drop it in the locked, black mailbox in the office.  Make it a one time donation or a monthly habit.  Team up with someone on one of the larger causes!  These little steps will go a long way to help our Church meet it’s needs.  And this winter you will be able to sit in church and think “it’s warm in here today because of me!”
